Possibilities and limits of local heating networks in rural areas. Development of models for the analysis and design of local heating networks in rural areas.
Objectives
Local heating networks are unavoidable if decentralized thermal energy sources are to be made usable for end users or if central long-term heat storage is planned. The planning and design under economic and ecological aspects is not subject to any standardized procedure and there are no suitable planning aids. The aim of the research project is to develop suitable planning tools. In the project network, the relevant input variables for the planning and design of local heating networks are investigated on the basis of existing local heating networks, the possible energy sources and the consumer-side elements.
Heat loss of the storage tank
Thermal stratification in the storage tank
Mixing during charging and discharging
Minimum distance between water level and loading tray
