Corrosion-proof commissioning of water circuits for heating and cooling
Are you the owner or operator of a building and have corrosion problems in the water circuits for heating and cooling?
Are valves stuck or are there leaks?
Would you like a preventive investigation or advice on how to avoid corrosion problems?
Would you like to implement technical monitoring in accordance with VDI 6044 or AMEV to monitor the water quality and corrosion risk in your building?
Then benefit from the expertise we have acquired in two research projects on corrosion in water circuits and contact us. We cooperate with Prof. Dr. Oliver Opel, who developed the FeQuan sensor and specializes in water chemistry aspects. We offer
- Determining the causes of corrosion damage in water circuits
If damage has already occurred or is indicated by cloudy circulating water, in most cases we are able to identify the causes by chemically analyzing a water sample and examining the system. - Recommended actions for system refurbishment
Corrosion processes can often be stopped by simple measures. Elaborate flushing or the use of corrosion inhibitors are rarely necessary. We provide independent and product-independent advice - Technical monitoring of water quality in water circuits to prevent corrosion damage with the FeQuan sensor
Technical monitoring of water quality is recommended for systems with a high system value (according to AMEV > €2 million) or a high risk of damage (loss of use, rent reduction, consequential damage). In the simplest case, the pH value of the circulating water is continuously recorded and monitored in accordance with VDI 6044. By recording other electrochemical water parameters, we are able to calculate the dissolved iron content and thus the current corrosion activity (FeQuan sensor). Additional system parameters provide indications of malfunctions in the building technology that affect the risk of corrosion. The monitored parameters can be viewed in real time in an online dashboard (powered by synavision). We monitor the system for you and contact you with a recommendation for action if necessary.
