EnBop - Energetic operational optimization

Project description

In recent years, numerous research projects have shown that there is a considerable gap between the successful application of innovative technologies in research and development and in demonstration projects and the expected high-quality multiplication in building and operating practice.

The EnBop - Energetic Operation Optimization research field closes this gap.

The research and development focus is on methods and tools for the effective implementation of building operation optimization, as well as the testing of newly developed prototypes of optimization systems in demonstration projects.

The consideration of quality assurance in the application and multiplication of innovative technologies and concepts in practice is an important aspect here. This results in the evaluation of corresponding operational risks that lead to quality losses in practice as a further content of the research projects.

The projects are supported by EnBop cross-sectional research, which carries out an analysis of operational risks and the economic efficiency and durability of operational optimizations by means of cross-project cross-sectional evaluations and summarizes and communicates the results of the projects. The EnBop cross-sectional research team holds annual workshops to discuss the latest results of ongoing research projects.

Become a partner for energy-related operational optimization

EnBop has a close practical focus - research is carried out on real buildings and systems. The EnBop research teams therefore regularly look for suitable buildings and systems for their investigations - and both sides benefit from the results of the work.

If you are interested in taking part in a research project with your buildings, simply let us know your contact details and give us some brief technical information about your buildings. If a suitable research proposal is being prepared, we will be happy to put you in touch with the research team without obligation.
